Peter Miller joining 16u Coaching Staff

Peter was born and raised in the Lutz area and played under Score’s Director of Player Development, Sam Marsonek in high school from 2008-10. His senior year, Peter took home the Wade Boggs award, recognizing outstanding community service, academic excellence, and athletic achievement. He was also named all-state 1st team and was selected as a FACA all-star. Peter was drafted by the New York Mets his senior year, but decided not to sign professionally and instead, to live out his dream of playing baseball at the Florida State University. He was drafted in the 16th rd. by the Los Angeles Dodgers after his junior season but decided to finish his degree and play out his senior year with the Seminoles. He was drafted a third time by the Seattle Mariners in the 9th rd. after his senior year and is currently playing in the Mariners’ organization. Peter will serve as our 16u Pitching Coach this fall.

We are excited to have, not only a great baseball guy on staff, but more importantly a great example of the kind of young man we want our players to develop into, both on and off the field. Pete Miller
